Roger Federer is my favourite athlete. When I was a 10 or so year-old kid I used to watch him stroke the ball around the court like no one else and it would compel me to immediately grab a racquet, run outside and hit a ball against a wall for hours and hours until I had sore arms and I was starving and I had sunburn all over my face. Being asked to create this campaign to celebrate his becoming the oldest #1 in history made a little kid's dreams come true.
We made all this in one week, for quite literally zero budget. The film has been seen millions of times, it was on the interactive billboard on W34th St in NYC, and we were in the NYT. It was so successful that they launched a shoe in his honour called..."Federer Forever."
